As most of you know, I am training to complete the Atlanta ING marathon with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team In Training program.
In addition to the training to complete the 26.2 miles in under 5 hours, I have set a personal fundraising goal of $1800 that will benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's patient aid and cancer research programs.
I'm getting closer but I still need to raise $ 1450.00, so I am asking 50 people to each give $26.00 in the next 10 days. (You can donate securely by visiting the link to my page on the Team in Training Website below.)
Together, we can do this- and I think it will be fun to see how quickly I can reach my goal.
Interested…just go to http://pages.teamintraining.org/ga/Georgia09/rloew
Check back often to see how much progress we are making towards the goal!!!
Please consider forwarding this email, the more people that participate, the faster we can find a cure for Leukemia, Lymphoma and other blood cancers!
If you have a person in your family or friends that has been touched by cancer, please send me their name- I would love to train in honor of them as well.
Thanks again, to each of us individually $26 isn't that much (just a dollar a mile), but together the power of our money can save many lives!!
Take care and many thanks,
